Happy 90th Dad

Dear Dad

One of the luckiest days of my life was when I became Mrs. Kevin Wicks. I am so blessed to be part of the Wicks family. You have been a true inspiration to all of us over the many wonderful years we have shared as a family. Living right around the corner has been terrific, and I have always loved our visits and chats. Thank you for the years that we shared the Pitney Bowes fax machine in your office at the house. It was a great way for me to start off my day, stopping by your office to send off a fax, and have a conversation about the "challenges of sales" and the "world of business". You taught me patience and you always took to the time to listen.

You also taught me about priorities and how important it is to try to have a good balance in life.

Thank you for your patience and encouragement when I was first playing golf, I loved the rounds we had out at the club, you always told me when putting that the ball that it will go towards the water. even if I couldn't see one of the streams or ponds, you are were right !! The couple outings we golfed in every August was a highlight of summer time for Kevin and I.

Thank you for all the time you took being a wonderful Grandpa to Greg, Joe, Ali, and Erica, another blessing and joy to have grandparents right around the corner. The mystery trips with the grandkids were always a special event. I remember the night that Ali was playing in her last home game at Pioneer and they were honoring the senior players. Kevin was out of town, and you stepped in and walked with Ali across the playing field. You were at so many of the kids' activities, it always warmed our hearts to see you standing on the side line or up in one of the bleachers.

Thank you for all the years of dedicaiton to our garden. It thrives and is full of blooming plants that come up year after year because of all your "green thumb"

Thank you for being you and for giving our family love, hope, and faith.

We are all better people on this earth because of what we have learned from you.

love and hugs,

Laurie
