HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOYD

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, UNCLE LOYD! (The Amazing "Fufu Dust" Magician) :)

I wish I could be with you in Ann Arbor today to celebrate your birthday with family and friends. I know it will be a very special day with wonderful memories for you. You made a lasting impression with me (and my brothers and sisters) with your incredible feats of magic. Your magic rivaled all other magicians because you had that secret ingredient that no other magician had. You had a pocket full of 'fufu dust'!   Without a doubt in my mind, it was the 'fufu dust' that made the magic happen. I will always remember waiting with excitement and great anticipation for you to sprinkle a bit of the 'fufu dust' and watch the magic unfold before my eyes.  Thank you for such a wonderful memory.

Sending you much love from New York City,

Mark Wicks

Hello Uncle Loyd - HAPPY 90th BIRTHDAY!!

I hope the day brings many surprises and nice memories.

I fondly remember my visit with you and Aunt Fran - about 20+ years ago. I visited a former roommate in Detroit and then spent some time with all of you in Ann Arbor.

I remember an evening talking about your travel adventures, a tour of Ann Arbor & a family gathering (and meeting your young grandsons)!

I always enjoy seeing you at the reunion (and if we don't make it, Mom & Dad catch us up on all the pertinent news)!

Many blessings to you!

Love,

Diane Doster

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday, Uncle Loyd!

All the best to a true gentleman - you bring a touch of class to the family reunions - and Lord knows that is often in short supply!  You show a sincere interest in everything and everyone and contribute your wit, wisdom, and sincerity - accompanied with a sly wink and grin and sometimes, just maybe, a hint of tongue in cheek.  (Wouldn't want anyone to think you were boring.)

We are disappointed to miss the celebration - but please know we are thinking of you and wishing we were there - and the reunion is just around the corner!

Love -

Mark and Barb Richardson
